California Adventure in March

I, clearly, could use some help. I was planning on taking my family to California Adventure for a one day in June to check out Advengers Campus as we have yet to experience it. When I saw the calendar and the costs I quickly realized the Tuesday or Wednesday of the first week of our spring break would probably be anywhere from $30 to $50 a person cheaper! So we switched because Grizzly was the only ride scheduled to be down for refurbishment and the weather should be cooler. However checking the entertainment schedule it seems Tuesday March 8th, even though only $104 a person, is also a sold out Villains Nite that starts at 5 p.m. So I switched to Wednesday (mentally) and noticed Food and Wine starts the weekend before. Is this still a good time to go? Would you wait and see if maybe June prices are cheaper than May? I was sort of excited for Spring temperatures instead of Summer but now I wonder if March might be busier than June. Is there anything else I should know about March 8th or 9th?

Don’t stress about it. Maybe it’ll be kind of busy but you can easily do everything in DCA in one day especially if you buy genie+. There’s not that much to do at Avengers Campus anyway

Food and Wine means crowds, but many of them will be clustered around the Food and Wine booths, so that's fewer people in line for rides/shows/other things that you want to show your family. Depending on how pressed you are for time, maybe take a look and see if you want to try any of the food that is part of the festival. My last trip fell during the festival. Some of what I had was great and some of what I had was disappointing.

The main effect of Food & wine is that the booths will be crowded during mealtimes which can make walking to places slower. The impact on ride wait times should be minimal. I'd save the money and pick these dates.
