Cali River Rapids accident

I was wondering what happened at Animal Kingdom. CNN was reporting an accident on Cali River Rapids on an evacuation deck.

I just read it on the community board, very sad.

Reports are saying that 6 were injured (5 guests, 1 CM). The ride came to an emergency stop while on the incline. The guests were suppose to step onto a platform that will bring them to safety, the platform collapsed with the guests on it. The reports say the injuries were mild (head/back bumps and bruises) but there was a lot of blood. One report said you could see the blood in the river. They are draining the river now and parts of Asia are closed. All 6 people were sent to the hospital.

In other sad news...
a male CM in AK collapsed and died today, there were no reports to why he collpased.
