Has anyone, recently, been to the CG and had sushi as an appetizer and then an entre? It appears that they've moved all the sushi to entrees. :(

I just looked at the menu online (I know you have to take those with a grain of salt) but I don't see any change in the sushi location that would indicate that it is now just an entree.

wdwinfo's version of the menu apparently is a bit different than the ones on allears or the wdw website. I'd only looked at the wdwinfo version.

I've never looked at that one but it does look a bit confusing. It says it was last updated 8/11 and we've had friends down there on the DxDP since then and they were able to get sushi as an appetizer...their son got sushi for his entree too. So I'm pretty sure it is still considered an appetizer for dining plan purposes.

I had a California Roll (in soy paper) in July on dxdp as my app.

It was so good- actually better then my entree.

I'm still on Disney Property and just ate there on Thursday :)
Sushi is an app, expect for the dragon and something else (the two most expensive rolls.) My other had the Kazan roll which was nicely sized and counted as an app.

The WDWinfo menu has always been a bit confusing with regard to the sushi menu. All of the sushi except the two most expensive choices (dragon roll & Yoshi's deluxe platter) are available as appetizers; those two are available as entrees. If that ever changes, I do believe we'd see many, many complaints here on the DIS in pretty short order!

Here's the sushi lowdown:

On either the regular or deluxe plan you can choose any sushi as an entree.

On the deluxe plan you can choose any but the two most expensive as an appetizer, and/or any as an entree.

THIS! :thumbsup2 We just ate there on October 16 and on the DxDP we were allowed to order any of the sushi (except for the two $28 rolls) as an appetizer. DBF had the Spicy Kazan roll and said it was some of the best sushi he's ever had!
