Cali Grill or Hoop De Doo?

We're going with my MIL in May. This will be our second trip and her first time ever. We have a ton of ADR's figured out already but I'm having a tough time deciding between another fancy meal (California Grill) or a dinner show (Hoop De Doo). My MIL is very country and would LOVE the Hoop De Doo but I know she wants to be spoiled on this trip as well and do more "fancy" restaurants... we already have Coral Reef as one of the ADR's so I'm not quite sure what to do. We're not on the dining plan either

It would really help if we knew what other ADRs you have for your stay. Coral Reef is certainly not a 'fancy' restaurant, and (IMO) doesn't have the greatest reputation for fine food.

Cali Grill, of course, is a signature and you have the great views. The food is OK, but it is probably the noisiest (lots of kids) of all the signatures.

Have been to HDDR many times and have always enjoyed the meal, the sangria, and the show. A place doesn't have to be fancy to be memorable. So I guess if I had to vote it would be HDDR over Cali Grill, and maybe change Coral Reef to a nicer TS. If you're keen on eating at Epcot, then I would recommend Tutto Italia, Les Chefs de France, or Le Cellier.

I'd love to try one of the other places in Epcot but we're going to just do a simple QS for lunch due to DH being so picky. He won't eat anything at Chefs de France or Le Cellier I've heard a lot of bad reviews of Coral Reef but also a few good ones and the food pics I've seen look delish. We're big seafood fans but not of sushi (hence the apprehension of Cali Grill)...
