Cali Grill Menu Changes?

There is simply no way the Strawberry Salad is an upcharge, but the Octopus or Lobster salads are not. Let alone the caviar station.

The Wild Mushroom Filet has a cost listed, but not the Wagyu or Lobster Tail.

There is simply no way this isn't an error of some kind. These items may be offered, but they aren't AYCTE with upcharges for the things with listed prices.

no, that's true. But the thing reads more like a buffet menu (upscale) than stations in a restaurant.... "Chilled Raw Bar Display with Poached Jumbo Prawns, King Crab Legs, Snow Crab, and Florida Stone Crab Claws" sounds like buffet. That said with all of the NYE stuff starting to finally dribble out, I'm hoping it's a special event menu.... but if you read the desserts they are xmas/nye sounding... a couple of peppermint and red velvet cake.

My guess is this is a mash up of the big NYE event and some standard menu and an intern screwed up. I think you can very well have a raw bar with sliding pricing even on a day to day basis; several of my local eateries offer such delights. Cost ends up being dependent on what you get. If they do it, I predict mayhem for the Dining Plan users.

you mean a per piece raw bar? That is very common where I live but it would never be called a "display." But I will go with big NYE event!

Exactly, which is why it's clearly all an error not meant for publication. Notice that the filet comes with "Turffle" butter

I just hope they put the grilled pork tenderloin with mushrooms and goat cheese polenta back on the menu... I've ordered that one every time for the past 15 years....

It's their signature dish! They can't get rid of their signature dish!

I think the same person updating the menus is running the Twitter account...

(yes, I like how I'm so concerned about this I took it to Twitter) :upsidedow

If you notice when you look at the Brunch menu it says Signature Dining in the upper right corner, slightly greyed out. When you click on the weird new "Dinner" menu that same section says Special and Unique Dining.

It's definitely for a special event of some kind.

Not a buffet. Sorry can't post pic right now. The jpeg is too large. There's a lobster tail, rib eye and cioppino that I don't remember from the website last I looked.

Sure they can. Disney dining is a bit like Game of Thrones. It is just less painful to avoid getting attached to your favorites!

Flying Fish ditched their signature dish at some point in the last year or so, and I'm still mourning the best red snapper I ever tasted. :(
