Cali Grill - DxDDP - Appetizer?

Trying to decide between no DP, DDP and DxDDP

Are there any exclusions to what appetizers can be ordered at California Grill on the Deluxe Dining Plan?

I'm eying the Flatbread and DBF would like any of the "First Course" items.
Am I correct in assuming the sushi is NOT considered an appetizer on the plan?

PS - Anyone notice the WDW website used the same families for the Cali Grill picture as they did for the Narcossee one?

The flatbreads, first course items and sushi (with the exclusion of the two most expensive rolls) are all considered appetizers on the DxDP.
