Cali Grill Dress Code

Will I be able to wear nice khaki shorts, a collar shirt, and closed toed sandles to Cali Grill? How about Narcossees?

We ate there xmas night 2006 and dh and ds wore khaki pants and polo shirts, my sisters and I had nice pants and xmas sweaters. the others in the restaurant had simiar to even dressier outfits, but it was the holiday. Some also had what you plan on with nice shorts. We did see a man get off the elevator wearing board shorts and a t-shirt and was told that he would not be seated. I'm not sure how he got to the restaurant floor because we were escorted from the 2nd floor check-in and I assume someone would have told him on his way up. Just know that they do abide by the limited dress code(although maybe not always).

Not sure what "board shorts" are, but unless they were torn, or unless his T-shirt had offensive wording, he should have been allowed in.

Board Shorts are like swim trunks. I can definitely see why he was NOT allowed into the restaurant wearing beach wear.

Agree. Never heard of board shorts, but if they resemble swim trunks, he was properly denied admittance.

Well I am wearing a nice cocktail dress and hubby is wearing khaki pants and a nice shirt. It is our Anniversary dinner so I am dressing up for the occasion- I just think a place like that SHOULD be nice and dressy.
