So I read that there is a 7% room tax and a 13% county tax. So does that mean I can take the cost of the room per night and multiply it by 20% and get the total cost? Are there any other costs that I need to figure in?

I'm trying to figure out if we would be better off renting DVC points or staying at ASMo during peak time.

Thanks

No, you don't add the 7%. Some counties are 11.5%, some 12% & some 13%. I know just between the All Stars & Pop you will see a tax difference. Pop will be slightly cheaper due to the lower tax

Most Disney resorts are 11.5%...the only ones that aren't are The All Star Movies, Music and Sports which are 13%. Just take the rack rate and multiply by 1.115 ir 1.13 and you'll get the total cost.
