calculating gratuity?

I would like to calculate the ammount of gratuti´s budget. Our party of 5 (2d, 1jr 2 ch).
Do I have to calculate with or without taxes?

Well, as a former server, I say calculate before the tax, as that has nothing to do with them, but I don't know what the official rule is.

As far as budgeting, how many sit down meals will you be having? Do you normally order entrees only or appetizers and desserts as well? How many days will you be going? Maybe we can help give you a better estimate.

The standard is 15%-20% of the pre-tax subtotal.

We will have 10 sit down meals.
9/11 Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
9/12 Dinner at Planet Hollywood
9/13 Dinner at Chef Mickey
9/14 Lunch at Tony´s Town
9/15 Breakfast at Beach Club
9/16 Breakfast at Polinesian
9/17 Dinner at Chef Mickey
9/18 Lunch at Christal Palace
9/19 Lunch at Coral Reef
9/20 Dinner at Hollywood & Vine

As yoy can see mosy of it are buffet meals, in the a la carte ones we will order the inclusions in the DDP.

See the menus here http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm to calculate your tips. Since you're eating primarily buffets, those will be easy (fixed price). For menu service restaurants, you could calculate based on the most expensive item for each course.
