Hiya eveyone
I hve just got overmy last trip to WDWin january (had an abfab time) and are already looking to book for oct 08. i have had a quotefor a villa at Calabay Park and just windered if anyone has any views on this site, have you stayed there, good or bad? and do you think £1188. is a lot for 2 weeks in oct?
Thanks for your help

Stayed at Manors North Westridge on the Highway 27 last year, this is close to Calabay Park (I think!) and personally we all felt it was way too far from Disney and all the other parks. Personally, if we were to stay in a villa again we would be looking for somewhere within 10-15 minutes of Disney

Stayed in a villa on Calabay park in 2003 loved it we dont mind the journey and it only took about 15mins to Disney.
Not sure on the price depends what size villa it is.
:)

Stayed on calabay Parc last Easter.

Lovely villa

We'd stayed on Florida Pines a couple of years before and found the SR27 traffic had increased enormously since then & it wouldn't be our first choice location, but if the price was right......

Calabay Parc is very nice, one of the best developments in the Orlando area.
However, as others have said, the location is not ideal.

Personally I prefer a base just off the 192, rather than on the US27.
I have driven up to Calabay Parc and it is further away from Disney than I would prefer.

The quote you have is reasonable, the development is very nice - it's just my opinion but I prefer a different location.

see.

Hi Everyone
Thankyou so much for replying to my question, i have just booked, not at Calabay Parc (although we may end up there) I have booked for 6 adults 2 children and 1 infant in a 4 bed exec villa with pool heating for £4639.00, with Travel City Direct in the disney area (went with them in Jan) note. I also phoned virgin and the exact same hol was £6750. even a tv in the back of the screen isn't worth £2000.
Thankyou so much for your advice
Ali
P.S I am now going to get myself a new ticker
