Cal Adventure closing at 5?

We are going in a few weeks and I noticed that two days in a row on our trip DCA is closing at 5. Is there an after-hours event going on? Especially strange because it’s spring break time period so I would have expected longer hours.

I think there’s corporate park buy outs both of those nights.

I think it’s super lame they are doing that two days in a row. It’s our only two days at the parks.

It sounds like it’s the rescheduling of the cast member service award party from 2020 and 2021.

Wow, that’s prime SB time….I would not be pleased. Agree 2 days in a row isn’t ok.

Yeah. I think it's great they are doing cast member appreciation. But 2 days in a row is unfortunate because that's our whole trip. It's also so early! Could they not do the event from 8-11???

I go a lot so I'm fine but am traveling with people who don't. And because there were no CA days available, park hoppers would only give you 4 hours.

We will be there for 3 days - 2 of which are affected by the early closure. I feel a little better that it’s for a cast event, but wish the days had been split up.

We had to spend extra $ for hoppers due to no availability at CA but will only get a couple of afternoon hours there.

Exactly - we were going to get park hoppers since we couldn't get a start at California Adventure, but are not doing park hoppers now.
