I have 2 questions: Does the Grand Floridian bakery decorate cakes for Christmas? I would love to get one for DH.

And 2...does anyone have a pic of the large castle cake? The cake thread is taking forever to load on my old dial-up computer.

Hi....me again....we just happened to celebrate DD7's bday during our Xmas stay last year at the Grand. This was a last minute cake that the wonderful lady that does the gingerbread houses at the Grand put together for her due to an unforseen issue we had with her preordered cake. She did a beautiful job, with just a couple hours notice, decking out this frozen cake and used a lot of the sugared and white chocolate items from the gingerbread houses and treats. She was so thoughtful too and placed two of everything on the cake and silver platter for both my DDs. This was so pretty when it was brought out, I can't imagine how gorgeous a prearranged Xmas cake would be. They can do beautiful things at the GF bakery.

Sorry for the funky angle. Not sure what I was thinking....too much champagne? PS. This was brought out at Citricos.

Lives4Disney I absolutely love that cake for JoJo!!! She is such a cutie. I am thinking of getting something at the CG when we are there for our anniversary. I wonder if they could do something like that... Hmmmm. Now you have my wheels turning.

Hey again Lives!

That was just beautiful!!! I am sure gonna call the bakery and get my hubby a cake and see if they can decorate it for christmas. He deserves something special for being such a great husband during the past 6 months, during my worst time in my life.

Im sure they will do something just wonderful!!! Thanks for the help!
