I really want to incorporate red Hibiscus flowers on our cake, we also wanted to get the Disney bride and groom precious moment. Any ideas on how we can make this work?
if you really want the precious moment cake topper i would say buy it and tell your planner what you want regarding the different topper and the flowers you want. i'm guessing it will cost extra money to add something different to the standard escape cake.
maybe have them make the hibiscus out of modeling chocolate and put it at the base of the minni and mickey so they look like they belong together (that way the modeling chocolate has the same looking texture)...
I just brought my PM Mickey and Minnie set and they put it on for me right before the ceremony. I prodived the base measurements so the decorator know how much room to leave on the top tier for it.
I have seen Disney cake decorators make gorgeous hibiscus flowers out of gumpaste, so I am certain they can do that for you. There might be a small up charge, but I can't imagine it being too much for a few flowers. Just let your planner know what you have in mind and they can make it happen.
I'm sure Rosie can work with the cake bakers to incorporate fresh Hibiscus if that's what you want (and if they're available). We had fresh Gerber daisies incorporated on our cake in addition to the included cake topper and absolutely loved it! I think it was only like $30 extra dollars to incorporate fresh floral to the included cake in the Escape package.
