Cake Table

Did you add anything special to your cake tables? I am a custom and am just doing ivory linens , chair covers w/ colored bows?

Im having upgraded linens for my reception but for the cake table i a just having ivory linens, some scattered petals and a couple of votives. Im already a little over my budget and didnt want to spend much in this area as i think the cake is special enough"

I added the "I DO" letters I made, 2 lil hanging bouquets & then rose petals. When the bridal party arrived we place our bouquets on the table. Here is a pic:

i brought some items from home to decorate our cake table. i bought glass globes which looked like bubbles & shells which were spread around the cake table, it looked beautiful.

we are having white linens with a champagne overlay and scattered red rose petals! I also think that they are using the bridesmaids bouquets...but I can't decide if I want to use them there or on the head table! your idea sounds great!

I didn't do anythign extra. they took my bouquet, the toss bouquet and all of the bridesmaids bouquets and put them on the cake table, and they arranged them in two hearts. it was a really nice touch and looked great
