We will be in WDW for my DD's 13th birthday. She loves cheesecake and we always have one for her instead of a traditional cake. She wants the tie-dyed cheesecake from Pop Century's food court for her birthday. (I know...lol)
I have tried calling the Cake Hotline to ask about this, but I always get a recording. Is there a better time to call when someone will answer? Or is it always a recording and you have to wait for a return call?
I was hoping just to order a whole cheesecake and have it delivered to our room, but if they won't/can't sell us a whole cheesecake, then we will just go to Pop Century and buy it by the slice. However, I didn't want to risk that they would be out of it before we got there. We're spending the day in MK for her birthday and she wants to see fireworks, so it would be at least 10pm if not later before we could get there.
So, anyone had experience getting a cheesecake for a birthday instead of a normal cake?
And is it possible to get a live human at the cake hotline?
Thanks!
UPDATE -in case anyone else is interested
I was able to order a whole tie-dyed cheesecake for just over $37 and, although only Pop Century makes them, it will delivered to our room at All Star Music for no extra charge.
I was VERY pleased!!
When I finally got a live person, she was VERY helpful and even called back the next day to confirm she had my order correct.
There are 12 slices in a whole cheesecake, but we will have a fridge, so since there are 4 of us, we will get cheesecake two other days of our trip besides DD's actual birthday.
