Cake delivered to hotel room?

Does anyone know if you can have a birthday cake delivered to the Grand Californian? Has anyone done it?

We're going for my son's 7th birthday and I have everything figured out except the cake.

I know you can arrange for cakes at the Character meals, so I don't see why not at the hotels too. Check with Vacation Planning. I know they can arrange gift baskets, so I'm pretty sure there's something for birthdays too. Sorry, I don't have the number for Vacation Planning with me right now. It's on the back of our confirmation letter at home.

Thanks! I called vacation planning (714-300-7526 in case someone else needs it) and they said they can definitely deliver a cake to the room. He said to call back 2 weeks before the date to set it up. He was actually kind of rude about it so I didn't ask specifics about how much and everything, I didn't want to talk to him anymore. Hopefully I'll get someone else when I call back!

I'll report how it goes after my son's birthday.
