Where do you have the cake and the dance when you are married at SBP if you are not having a reception? We are considering this site for our VERY LONG AWAITED wedding....date still not set in stone:-) BUT, it would just be the two of us and our daughters. We will not be having a reception and I am curious how this works? We originally thought about WP but I am now leaning more to SBP.

Thank you!!
Cat

They set the cake table off to the side....here are some pics....

Ok this is where the ceremony is held..

here is how they would decorate the table...you can make requests,i asked for rose petals, had to pay for them though so they are not included.

SBP is huge so you won't feel crammed if you are having an escape.

They have chairs set up for the ceremony and tables and chairs set up in the back for people to eat the cake, the tables seat 4.

This is where you will have your first dance

I love SBP,it really is beautiful. I hope this helps. If you have any questions just ask me :)

They can also set up the tables just outside of the gazebo in the grass if you like. I plan on telling my planner my preference in advance.

Does anyone know can you use your own champagne glasses and cake cutting stuff or do you have to use disney's?

You can use your own :)Just tell your planner you plan on it and give the stuff to your husband to be to give to your planner the morning of the wedding.

Hey lynnie, did you tell WC that you didn't want clouding on your cake table? I'm doing petals, but I want to make sure there's at least draping on it, just not obnoxious clouding! :headache:

Is there a charge for using Disney's stuff?
And if you don't mention it to them will it automatically be there? Don't wanna find we can't eat cake! :lmao:

No there isn't,it's included in the package..the only thing extra is if you add more floral, add on the disney cake knife and server, the sand ceremony and other odds and ends you want.

Thank you so much Lynn!!! You look absolutely beautiful and, after viewing your pics I really think we are SBP bound. Thanks again!!! Now I just have to figure out how much, or little, extra we want the area decorated. thanks to your photos I know we will go with the rose petals!!

Have a great day!!

no problem Cat..I honestly think just the petals is all SBP needs..save yourself the money for other things,SBP is beautiful enough,it doesn't need to much decoration...I was going to do a swag on the archway but decided 225 dollars isn't worth it.I'm glad I just did the petals.

if you need help with anything please let me know.

That's good news!
So just to clarify, in this area you would get included:
A plain cake knife and server?
Fork and plate per person?
Champagne glass per person and one bottle of champagne? (we'll buy another 1 or 2 so we have enough for all)
Basic cake?

Is this right?

Yeah Meryll that's right! dude thier champagne is really good!!!!!!

I had like 2 sips and I drank water..i never like champagne but this one was good!!!! I'm not a big drinker to begin with.

Yeah, its like when they bunch all the linen up on the table so it looks all poofy... I just want flat linen and my petals...no poof. I'm not a poof kinda gal. :rotfl:

Great! That's what I'm doing - I debated the swag, but like you said, it's pretty pricey. :worried:

but you gotta have a wee glass of bubbly ;)

:woohoo:
