I actually think some of the pins are worth more than a 1 to 1 trade.

That's why I will offer for the 50th Celebration Quest pin:

5 tanks OR 5 new pins, or a combination of either (if they are sold the
same price. If the tanks are more money, I'll go 2 tanks/3 pins.)

I find it interesting how the people who get in late on this thread start offering more and stating how the previous offers just aren't good enough. I have no problem trading more, but I offered what was asked and it seems other people are now just trying to get in on the party and push those out of line in front of them.

It's kind of like walking in a store and paying sticker price but when you get to the counter the person behind you sees you got the last one and try's to offer the clerk twice as much.

We are just stating that the want of Cairne seems not fair .. but he is the owner of the pins so he do want he want anyway ..

No - I felt I was helping the person understand the value of the pins that they had, so that they can benefit from it. But, maybe that is a suggestion we need here - to help people understand the value of what they have before they undervalue their items.
