sorry to ask questions again! but we want to book a character lunch probably for our last day (tues) & i am torn between these 2 ^

could anyone recommend either for a family of 2 adults/ 3 kids & 1 mother in law!!!

also in Cafe Mickey can you go in & have anything off the menu or is it a set menu you have to pay? :confused3

hubby is worried about the cost & i said ' dont worry we dont have to choose anything expensive, we could just have something small ' then i have read things saying you have to pay the set menu price, plz explain if poss for anyone who has been.
thanks.:)

you can order off the menu at cafe mickey so get whatever you want

At the moment Lucky nugget is a buffet so a set price but there are changes imminent there and no one really knows what is happening yet apart from mentions of a Goofy show.

There is a set menu at Cafe Mickey, but you don't have to have that.
You can choose from the a la carte menu instead, including at lunchtime.

I honestly couldn't choose between Cafe Mickey and Lucky Nugget for lunch, but if you don't think you'd eat 30 euros worth of food (as thats the price for the buffet at the Lucky Nugget per adult), maybe that would sway the choice to Cafe Mickey?

I have had breakfast at Cafe Mickey and lunch at the Lucky Nugget and if you have kids i think the first one will be a better choice.
Lucky Nugget was a buffet and as we were sat on the balcony it was not so *handy* to go and get food. All the characters stopped at every family even if on the balcony there was not much room for a *real* interaction with them.

thankyou for all your replys, so if we went in & just had say starters & drinks would that be ok? or do you have to spend a set amount?

I think you'd be better thought of at Cafe Mickey (or indeed any restaurant at all) if you had a main and a drink, instead of a starter and a drink. I would expect the minimum order for an adult would be a main meal :confused3 .

The childrens meals are a set price anyway, and include a starter, main and a dessert, with a drink.
