Hi
Have been reading some previous posts about lunch at Cafe Mickey and am not sure whether we are best going at lunch, dinner or if I have my way, both

We have been for dinner which we loved and were planning on doing this again when we go in January but not sure about lunch
:confused3 as we prefer to eat later on in the day and just have a snack at lunch.

Is it usually quieter at lunch?
Can you go during lunch and not have a full meal?

Thanks

Pam :wizard:

I prefer having a proper sit down evening meal and a counter service light lunch as I've usually filled up at brekkie.

Lxx

We had lunch there last week and we much preferred it to the dinners we've had there in the past. It was much quieter so the character interaction was even better. We just ordered main courses and drinks, we didn't bother with starters or desserts, although you can have the 34 Euro set menu if you want.
I would go for lunch over dinner there every time! :thumbsup2

We preferred meals better in the evening. However having seen the interaction at CM's in a trip report at lunch-time it looked magical with the smaller crowds.

We've done both lunch and dinner. Although we prefer to eat in the evening, we found lunch time very much quieter. The character interaction was excellent as there were only a few families in and they made a lot of fuss and kept coming around! We went for a late lunch and didn't eat too much for breakfast. :cheer2:

I'm sure this was in another post but I can't seem to find it.

What times are the characters out and about in Cafe Mickey. I seem to remember there is a gap between lunch and dinner . Is that right? :confused3

We will be going there for lunch 0n the 8th Jan to celebrate DS's 10th birthday. Thanks for the advice everyone. You could share the birthday cake if you are at DLP at the same time

Aah,thank you.We will be there from 14th to 19th January.
Hope you have a lovely time and your DS has a great birthday. :wizard:

we have done both, lunch is lovely as it is quieter so you get more character interaction however it is much livelier in the evening and more of a party atmosphere, the characters put on more of a performance, the characters still go around all the tables however they mess about with each other for the entertainment of everyone. for example on our last visit Minnie had all the children doing the conga around the restaurant. Goofy once stole hooks sword and hook chased him around the restaurant. dd still talks about this, she loved it.

I think it is between 3pm and 6pm, not 100% sure though.
