Hello All!

We are going to be in Disney next week and my brother wants to rent a Cadillac for the week, do any of you know what (if any) of the car rental places offer this as a option?

Thank you all in advance!

Hertz says that they have Escalades in the Prestige Collection, Budget and Avis (Specialty category) list the CTS as available at Orlando, and Avis also says that they have the DTS in their Luxury category. Of course most, if not all, of these companies disclaim specific vehicle branding/model with added language indicating "or similar" in the descriptions. So I think it's best to call the location to find out if there are other possible alternatives that your brother would end up with.

Thrifty is offering a Chryler 300 if you want to try that.

Short of using a Make/Model Reservable category (Hertz Prestige or Avis Specialty - Model Reservable) there are no guarantees what vehicle you will get in each class.

Avis lists a Cadillac DTS as a luxury, but it is "or similar" and you could end up with a Lincoln Town Car.

Just a note too, even make/model reservable reservations can be modified due to lack of vehicles (late returns/damage/accident).

How is this relevant? Also, it is scary to think some companies like Thrifty actually consider a 300 a luxury car (300C to be exact). :Shudder:

First of all it's not in their luxury class, secondly it becomes relevant when the OP finds they can't guarentee a cadillac and starts to look into other options. I knew that Thrifty offered a Luxury and a Beyond Luxury class, when I checked MCO I see that neither class was offered for the dates I checked. I was just letting the OP know what options came up for that company so they wouldn't have to look it up themselves. But, I suppose the OP knew they could search various companies themselves and not have to come here to ask. That's what's wonderfull about the disboards, lots of options start to open up when asking so many different people.

Actually Thirfty and Dollar (one in the same IMO), use the 300 as both a Premium class and Luxury Class (their website confirms 300 or similar). Usually the 300C is reserved for Luxury, but even that is a sad state of affairs for a Luxury class reservation.

The OP asked specifically for a Cadillac, offering Thirfty with a 300 is like someone saying they want a Convertible and saying, oh Hertz offers an Escalade. It failed to answer or enhance the OPs question/request.

Just a note on your DTS rentals, you actually have a Luxury Car reservation, you may or may not get an actual DTS. You could get a Towncar or some other "Luxury" car. Unfortunately as of late, I have heard National has been placing some 300Cs on the Luxury Aisles.
