Cabs at Blizzard Beach

Couldn't seem to find this anywhere: Are there normally cabs waiting around at Blizzard Beach like the other parks? Would like to use Uber, but didn't want to take cell phones with us. Don't mind the cost of the locker but more having to keep track of the key all day. I have a long history with losing keys:rolleyes:

I didn't see any cabs waiting around. We used Uber. You can buy an inexpensive water proof pouch for your phone and keep it with you all day. I used one of them on our waterpark days. It can hang around my neck or attach to my arm with a neoprene armband, like a workout band. You can take it on all the slides. I wore a rash guard and tucked it inside my shirt on faster slides.

Plus, then you can take photos all day! The phone can be used through the pouch. It's cool!

The lockers (at Typhoon Lagoon at least, and the ones in AK near Kali River Rapids) use a 4-digit PIN you choose. No physical key to misplace!

I assume BB has the same lockers?

I have not been to BB for quite a few years, but we go to TL every year.

TL does not always have cabs, we had to call for one last year.

TL lockers that I have seen have the 4digit pin. Super easy to use.

I have used a waterproof pouch for my phone, CC and cash. Since Magic Bands are used for everything, I have kept my phone hidden in my beach bag in a zip lock bag.

We have rented a cabana the last few years and they have a lockable safe that is not waterproof, so still bring a zip lock baggie.

Ok, I saw that the price was $13 but you get $5 back with return of the key so assumed it was a real key not a code. Maybe that information wasn't correct.

That's how the Theme Park* lockers work (those are key operated), but not the keyless water park ones:

Water Park lockers are $10 for regular and $15 for large; all day use w/ no key.

*The exception is the Kali River Rapids lockers; which are keyless and free for 2 hours of use.

1. There generally aren't cabs hanging around, but you can call for a cab and they come pretty quickly. A CM can call for you if you don't have a phone.

2. The lockers are keyless; you pick a PIN number.
