Cabs and Car Seats

We have a couple of early morning ADRs at the MK resorts, and a cab would be so much more convenient than Disney transportation. Any experience with getting a cab/Uber with a car seat for a toddler? We are bringing ours for the plane but hope to stow it the rest of the trip.

if you use your carseat for cab ride do not know how you would store at a park afterwards as if I remember correctly it will not fit in a locker as they are too small. plus I am not sure if you could bring it on a park bus I do not remember the under the bus storage like the ME buses

You can request a cab with a car seat. There is no guarantee as to the shape of that seat, but it is an option. There are inflatable booster seats that might would fit under your stroller for the rest of the day, but I know little about them and doubt they would be a safe option for a toddler. Just not a lot of choices. We pretty much avoided taxis until out little guy was 5 and used the seat belt the few times we used taxis. Not a safe or good choice either.

Getting a taxi with a car seat is easy, but there's no guarantee that it will be safe or clean. I would just take the bus.

Blech, pretty much what I figured. Will have to decide the day before if 1900PF is worth loosing an hour of sleep.

Have you considered moving it later? I much prefer going to MK for a bit and then eating at the latest possible seating.

I thought about it, but we have a few early lunch ADRs planned (Tusker,and Akershus) and pre-park CP, so Im happy to play it by ear. In any case, I really need to get the little one around some characters locally to gauge his freak-out potential.
