Believe this is a faily new offering in Cabo, has anyone done this excursion? Just wondering what it is like.....

I did the Mexican Fiesta and Folklore show in Cabo on the New Year's Eve cruise.

We took a tender over to Cabo from the ship and were taken by a coach to the restaurant, took about 10 mins to get there. The coach was very new, air conditioned and comfy.
The restaurant was clean and tidy and the servers were friendly and polite. I didn't really like the food. It was bland and set out as a buffet but there was not much of it. The people I was sitting with got up for seconds and everything had already been put away, which was disappointing. The dessert was a Churro. It was very well made but I was expecting something more.

The dancers were great. They were well trained and after the show, most of the kids got up to dance and then the MC got all the adults up and we all had a go at dancing, which was fun and made the excursion.

I feel if you go for the show, you won't be disappointed but if you go just for the food, you may be disappointed.

One point I feel that Disney should have told us about ( as I booked the excursion through Disney ) is that the Coach driver and the dancers expect a tip at the end. I was very embarrassed, as I only had a US$100 bill on me, so I could not give them a tip. Coming from Australia where tipping is not customary, I didn't even think to take some change with me. A lesson learned for the future.

Hope this helps! :)
