What can you say about it?
I recommend this one, because it was nice and close. If I knew that this place (Finisterra Hotel) was located across the street from the dock, I would have walked it myself. However, with booking the excursion through
DCL, those cruisers like ourselves (DW, DD5) were allowed to enjoy the middle pool with a swim up bar, a lower pool, and all the kiddie areas. There were enough jacuzzis and room for everyone. There were more than enough lounge chairs. However, be careful of the bees. My friend's mother was stung by a bee. The painting project for the chidren were nice. It was very windy the day we went, but it broke the heat of the day. The brunch was nice and they had a pinata for the children. Take advantage of the brunch!
It was not crowded at all. Please take in account that the 4.5 hours mentioned on the DCL website involves about 40 minutes of getting gathered at the meeting location within the ship (in our case, it was Promenade Lounge), walking off the boat, through the little alley way of the miniature vendor shops, onto a bus (a/c), then up a hill, and into the resort. It goes by quickly. So, take your time to enjoy and take a taxi back. You can walk into town. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk. However, we were with children and we took a taxi.
Hope this helps.
