CABLEVISION offering FREE on demand today ONLY

Cable is offering free ON DEMAND MOVIES just for today, sunday. They offered binding Arbitration to abc and they still refused to give back ABC to all the cable subscribers. Movies are good to be re-played for 24 hours and they say ANY movies ordered for FREE today will show as a credit on your cable bill. I saw this info when I went to check my email as I have triple play with them.

No oscars on 7
FREE movies on demand we'll be ordering several and watching thru tomorrow...I read NO where that there was a limit...

We tried for an hour and couldn't get any of the movies to play.

Yes, I got the email telling me at 5:15. My 8 year old was like thanks for telling is when the day is practically over! LOL

All well and good except on the big flat screen TV Video on Demand won't show up at all-says we don't receive it @@ and on the 2 other TVs I ordered movies for my kids, put in my pin, asked me to wait and then the message on the TV read:Video can not be played.
Thanks so much Cablevision.

Oh and naturally Cablevision's customer service lines are busy.

OMG slammed with movie requests. I CANNOT GET THRU EITHER

I'd be sure to "request" the movies and that will then show on your cable account, which means we should be able to see them tomorrow OR call and complain that we could not get it to work and want the credit for the missed movies.....Good Luck all

My husband is on the phone finally with them and they said it was too much with everyone ordering and they were trying to get it fixed-but just to watch them tomorrow because they will be available for 24 hours.
He is now dealing with them about the fact that we don't get 8 of our HD channels.
They seem pretty happy to be helping him, must be nice to talk to someone about something other than ABC or the free movie mess. LOL

I watched a movie and put a few in my active rentals. If they don't credit me for them, someone will get an earful. I had to try a bunch to get it to work. I am laid up sick, so would've been great to watch this afternoon...

We tried to get a movie on demand too and it wouldn't play.....but by then ABC was back on and we only missed a little of the Oscars anyway.
