Hi!

I have read the directions to Cable Beach via walking and then catching a public bus.

Has anyone caught a cab at the pier to Cable Beach? How much was it, and (most important question) were you able to get a cab back from the beach? With 7 people (including 2 74-year-olds and 3 under 11's) I think I'd be more comfortable taking a cab, but I want to be sure I can easily get a cab back to the ship!

TIA for a quick answer!

The beaches at Cable Beach are all behind the resort hotels. If you don't want to take the bus (really a van), any of the doormen at the Nassau Beach hotel or the Wyndham Cable Beach will be happy to get a cab for you. They line up in front all the time. Everyone is very friendly and will take care of you if you ask.

Thank you very much!

So I should hail a cab at the pier and ask to be taken to the Wyndham Cable Beach, and that will put me in the right spot?

Appreciate the info.

Ask to go to Cable Beach and they'll take you right to that area. The three hotels (Wyndham, Nassau Beach and Raddison) are right next to each other. From what I've read here, only the Raddison is unwelcoming.
