Cabins have hair dryers?

I'm sure I've seen this but can't recall. Do the cabins have hair dryers, if not, my wife will drag one along. TIA.

They do, but they are pretty low powered. I brought my own. You have to plug them in in the "sitting area". The outlets in the bathroom won't accomodate them.

The hairdryers are fine for short hair but anything other than that they are useless!!

We always bring our own, along with an extension cord (some hairdryers have the big black box type plug and these will not fit into the DCL outlet) and use the outlet by the big mirror on the desk. There is also an outlet behind the TV. Just slide the TV out a bit and you will see the plug.

With three teens we have cords plugged in everywhere for hairdryers, curling irons, flat irons, etc!!

The hairdryers which are attached to the bathroom walls are not very strong, but no hair dryer works really well on my thick hair. I let mine dry naturally for a little bit, and then the dryer DCL provided was fine. Which is the same thing I do at home.
If your hair long and thick, and you have a very short time to get ready, you should probably bring your own.

Typical new hair dryers today are usually listed at about 1600 to 1800 watts, but the dryer in the bathroom is only 900 watts (about half the power).

I always get a good hair cut just before we go on a cruise and the on-board dryer is just fine for me.

But if you got "big hair" or lots of people, I too would agree that you should consider bringing another one.

Ours did. Was pretty low powered, but it did do the job.
