Cabins and Campsites together

Hey Everyone, We haven't been to Disney in 5 years and I was hoping that someone could help us. We are going in October. DH and I are staying in the cabin with 4 kids and my sister and mother & families are pulling RV's. We are doing the Grand Gathering thing but there is still no guarantee. We want to stay as close together as we possibly can in FW. I have an old map and it looks like we should stay in loops 2100 and 1100. Does anyone know the exact sites we can request? I also heard that there are two cabins in the 100 loop beside campsites is that true?

This is not an uncommon request, so just make sure that you reservation indicates that some folks will be in cabins and others in campsites. Ask fo them to be close together in 11100/2100 loops. You will be told the standard "nothing is guaranteed" line but the site assigner will attempt to make it happen. It just needs to be noted on the reservation.

As to the two cabins in the 100 loop, these are not reservable. They are used by Disney for VIPs. A couple of folks have said they have stayed in them, so I guess they are used sometimes for paying guests.
