Cabin Refurbs

We will be taking our first trip in late May early June to Ft Wilderness and have cabin ressies. Will all of the cabins be refurbished by then? Not that I have anything to compare them to! I just know that I am really looking forward to our vacation at the Fort and love any info I can get to mentally escape there.

Im the same way...Ive been mentally escaping to FtW for about 3 months,now....we leave in 20 days....Its the only thing keeping as close to sanity as a guy like me can get. I'll start to plan next years trip as soon as we get back, just so I'll always have something to look forward to.

I made our reservation for Memorial Day weekend 2 days ago and asked for a refurbished cabin and was told that by then, they should all be remodeled. I'm hoping that's correct.

Iklasing,thank-you for sharing what Reservations told you! I do love the planning process almost as much as actually going, and the sharing of information really helps. Big Daddy, you have a wonderful looking family. That's the best part of being at Disney- being there as a family!

I just got back. I will post some pic's tomorrow. We stayed in an updated cabin and it was just like the ones that weren't updated except newer soft goods and a new shower curtain rod. The comforters were not very soft......very hard. We pulled them off. It had the same feel as the other visits. I will post more detail tomorrow, I need to do laundry.

Thank you so much...Ive upgraded to a larger family now...had two more installed.....my youngest daughter actually IS in those pictures..my wife was 5 months in those pics. New pics of entire family will be in the sig as of dec 11th or so....cant wait to show them off to you guys. Being there as family is what keeps me struggling to go....Even my teenagers suddenly become "human again"(as Lumiere would sing) at WDW!!
