Cabin question

We are just starting to plan our families very first trip to Disney. We are looking at the dates of October 1-9 as our arrival/departure dates. I was looking through all the resort options with my oldest son and he wants to camp at Disney so bad.

Am I dreaming thinking there will be availability this far into the year already? I told my son that we may not be able to camp and he understands that, but I would love to be able to make his wishes come true.

Give them a call. We have never not been able to get a cabin. One Labor Day weekend, we were told no right up until the time we pulled up at Ft. Wilderness. I walked in, asked for a cabin and was told yes. They even cancelled with the other resort with no penalty. My kids love the cabins and the campground. We usually take our travel trailer, but a quick trip to the cabins are a treat! Good luck and have fun!!!

I don't think you'll have a problem at that time of year. I'm hoping to go then myself!

I made reservations on Fri Feb 25 for arrival Sun Feb 27! We didn't know we were going until the last minute! I think the cabins are a well-kept secret, we have stayed there twice and LOVED it!

Another question...my mom is planning on joining us on this trip. She is a FL resident and works for the USPS. Would she be able to get a better rate if she does the booking rather than us?

Make your reservation now, listing all adult names. If there is a Fla Resident discount for that time of the year, just call back and modify your ressie with the code. Mom will need to present her DL at checkin.
