We are planning to stay at Fort Wilderness for Halloween next year. Which would be more fun for Halloween activities.... staying in a cabin or pitching a tent?

My kids will be 13, 9 and 8 next Halloween.

THANKS!

I am preferential to a tent, but that would depend on what ya'll or used to and where you would be most comfortable.

Yea, but if you tent camp, can people in your party order the dining plan? I was wondering about that a little bit....we are thinking of a grand gathering at the cabins next year in september, if they have the military plan, if they don't, another option, is to tent camp, since my family are all avid campers.....but we would want the dining plan....see the delimma?

Thanks. I am NOT a tent person so I think I will go with the cabin. I was willing to do the tent if the kids would have more fun, but if it's the same, the cabin it will be.

Another option to the cabin or tent is the following:

www.campatthefort.com (5th wheel)

OR

www.makecampingeasy.com (popup camper)

These are both well respected companies on this board that will bring and fully set up their camper on your site and they both have just about everything you would need except for your clothes.

The cost would be less than a cabin and you would be closer to all of the amenities at the Fort. Also if handing out candy to the trick or treaters is important to you, then you would have more action there.
