Cabin information please

Has anyone ever stayed in cabin 6554 or close to it (by midship elevators). I was wondering if there was a problem with noise being this close to the elevators. We have stayed further Aft before and not had a problem with hall noise. Going on the May 8th Western and can't wait. Thanks - CAMICKEY

We stayed in 7537 on the Wonder in Oct. 2002...I don't recall noise as being a problem (but then again I can sleep through anything). It was nice to be on Deck 7 becasue you were close to the kids clubs and the pools. This year we are on Deck 2, which is closer to the restaurants(always a good thing).

My brother's family was in this cabin our last cruise. My other brother had the adjoining 6552. No prblem with noise that they reported. We were in 6564 which is even closer to the elevators. Nice location - IMHO. Off the elevator and into your room, less shuffling up and down hallways, which would be a greater source of noise.
