Now that I'm not taking the TT down :( and staying in a cabin:Pinkbounc , do I still decorate our cabin? CampinCorgi was asking about Halloween (go for it!), we will be there Christmas time... same type of decor as I use for tt or is there something else people use? If I could fit it in the Excursion, I'd bring a tree and put a sign out... help decorate our tree! But don't know that I can fit it. Will there be a place to hang lights? Banner or flag? I hope to put up a large lime green Mickey head with my user name on it. Don't even know that there's a place for that! Any ideas? TIA!

You will have your deck outside the cabin. I am considering taking halloween lights to drape around the deck railing. Also, the cabins have 2 small windows facing the road, you may be able to put a Mickey head in there, or once again, you could tape it to your deck railing for all to see. Whatever you decide, I think it will be great!

Fort Wilderness is famous during Christmas for all the decorations on the RV's. Tacky, tacky is the watchword here. Multi-colored lights (gobs of them), k-mart x-mas decorations abound. Last year I was next to a guy who had somehow gotten a huge lighted mickey up into the trees. His camping site had a wire fence (for his dogs) and it was lit up with every light imaginable.

I think some people just load every decoration they can get inside the RV and head down! Have fun!
