we are considering a cabin for our trip in the fall..2 married couples, one single girl, one single man and a baby. one married couple could room with the single girl but others would want private areas or at least not sleep in the same room. is the bedroom all bunk beds with a pull out in the living room or are there 2 bedrooms and apull out in the living room. Thanks

Only 1 bedroom - that bedroom includes a full bed and bunk beds. The other "bedroom" serves a dual purpose. It's the living room by day and a bedroom by night. It has a pull down Murphy bed to use for sleeping.

You may want to get two cabins for all those adults. It is going to be very cramped with that many people in one cabin. We usually rent two cabins either side by side or directly across from each other. :sunny:

I hate to say this on the Fort Wilderness board (lol) but you may be better off taking a look at a 2-bedroom villa at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. There is a king master suite for one couple, another bedroom with 2 double beds for the other couple and the single girl, and a fold-out couch in the living room for the single guy. They could also give you a crib for the baby.

Just an idea. :)

We LOVE the Ft. W cabins too!

But I think it might get cramped having that many adults in one cabin. There is only one bathroom for 6 adults to use. Also, as stated there is only one bedroom - 1 full bed & bunkbeds, and then a murphy bed(pulls down from wall) in the living room.

I think either a 2 bedroom villa(which is quite expensive, maybe look into renting points) or 2 connecting rooms at a value resort.

Good luck.

thanks for the good suggestions.

we stayed at pop last time ( husband and I only) and guess old habits die hard but we decided we
like fw better than anywhere else. unfortunatley it sounds like the cabin won't work for us and with gas at almost $2 a gallon, coming all the way from Ohio with anythingelse at fw but a car & tent would be way to expensive
