We are staying in a cabin from Dec 14th thru 21st!!! Can anyone give ideas or pictures on how to decorate the outside for Christmas? I've heard the RV sites go all out with decorations, but haven't been able to find any pictures or ideas for the cabins. Are there electrical outlets on the exterior? Thanks for your ideas!!!

Use the search bar and you can get some ideas. I don't see why not on the cabins. I think there are more campsite decorated cause they typically stay several days and up , some stay months :) You could use Xmas lights and wrap them around your porch, that would be very pretty.

Yes there are electrical outlets. Rope lights look great around the deck.

Our Disney Family has been going to the Fort for over twenty years for all holidays except Halloween and always in the cabins.

The reason you don't see many decorated is for the previous reason, guests aren't there long enough.

But the cabins are perfect to do the simplest of Christmas Wreaths and Bows to the more elaborate of blow up animated characters.

Treat the cabin like your own home, the few rules Disney has is keep decorations on your site, do not interfere with other sites or travel ways. No damage to the building or decks ie; nails. Finally make sure that your display does not interfere with others guests relaxation, No intrusive lighting into other cabins or music and other noises late.

Have fun and do not forget to tour the campgrounds, we stay in the cabins but by far the best decoration display is in the camping and RV sections. Also don't forget to look up the guest can get imaginative with lights in the trees.

I was in the cabins right before Halloween and people would use the outlets to have blow up characters. Some people also changed out the outside light bulbs and put orange ones in their place, red and green would look nice I'm sure. One cabin also had a strobe type light bulb but not sure how that would work for X-mas stuff. Guess you could also put candle lights in the windows.

all this talk about christmas decorations, gonna have to plan a trip down over the holidays one year.
