Cabin check in/ golf cart rental

In my mind's eye I pictured the golf cart rental at the Outpost all in the same area. I see from the map that this isn't the case. So am I correct in assuming that I'll have to take an internal bus to my cabin loop, drop off my things, then go to the golf cart rental? I'm wondering how long this whole scenario will take, and since I will have both young children and senior citizens if it won't be better to leave them at the Outpost and then retrieve them with the golf cart. Or get them to the cabin and then get the cart. Let me know if you have any easy way of handling this. TIA!

The golf cart pick up is right outside the front desk check in at the outpost. If you're arriving by magical express, you will be dropped off right in that area. Golf cart pick up time is after 1 pm. If you have a lot of carry on luggage, stroller, etc, one person could get the golf cart while the others get a ride. The fort has a shuttle van available to take guests and their luggage to and from their cabin at check in and check out. Just ask at the front desk.

I wanted to add that we actually had to go to the front desk area to do the payment and then went right outside to the golf cart parking lot to get the cart.

Awesome, thank you, for some reason I thought the golf carts were at the bike rental. My mistake! It obviously makes much more sense for them to be at the Outpost.

If you have been to FW in the past (1990's) or seen pictures from that time, this is where I believed we picked it up then.

1) You are looking at an old map.
2) The golf carts are now located adjacent to The Outpost (check-in building).
