Cabin 7620???

Anyone stay in this cabin before? It is one of the used to be cat 5 now a cat 7. We usually stay in a cat 5 or 6. Is this room a huge difference with the bowed side? Or is it not too bad? Just wondered if the 300$ difference was worth it.

We booked 7120 for our Sept 7 night Magic Cruise. We are looking forward to staying in this "secret" verandah room. You can see pictures of the room at Daves DCL Tribute website.

I know I was aft and you'll be forward but I just want to tell you how great 7120 is! I booked through DVC for the 5/18/03 and there were three adults staying in the room - my honey, his mom and I. You must remember (if you are a first timer) that the room is much smaller then a hotel room. But I thought it was great.

Highlights:

1- Paying for a navigator's verandah but basically getting a regular verandah
2- Split bath
3- Location! Location! Location! You are two decks down from deck 9 where all the pools and snack foods are. It was so conveinent to run upstairs and get a slice of pizza or ice cream (and then eat it on the verandah).
4- Secret deck 7. Once you see it - you'll love it.
5- Great view of Nassau and CC when docking.

Any other questions let me know. We liked it so much we've booked 7620 for the 7 night in May 2004. (7120 was taken).

go for it we loved it and it was in the cat 7 group , of course we knew that when we booked it......
peter we used to get secret porthole room then one time we got a cat 4 and from then on we like to have a verandah
so we go with the cat 7 recently downgraded rooms

We're are scheduled to be in room 7620 on the 10/25/03 Magic cruise. I will be sure to take lots of pictures and post my opinions on it in a trip report when getting back.
