Booked a 4-day Wonder for July and originally was assigned to cabin 7000. Asked TA to try and change as I wasn't sure if DW would like the feel of the ocean on the forward end. Found out today we now have 7620 which I know is a partially obstructed verandah. I have read the numerous posts on this board from folks with questions about the obstructed view. Was just wondering if anyone who has sailed in cabin 7620 could tell me what they thought?

We sailed last year and had a verandah and enjoyed the little time we spend out there (too much to do!). We didn't really need a verandah on this trip although I think it will give us a different view and that will be fun. Anyone who has been in 7620 have an opinion????

Thanks!

QJ411 - thanks for the info. From Dave's DCLtribute site, the pictures show that it has a partially obstructed view. Again, not a big deal to us, was just wondering. The deck plan doesn't show a whole lot in that regard. From what I've read, 7620 was a Cat 5 or Cat 6 that was re-classed as a Cat 7 because of the partial obstruction. Thanks!

No problem at all, sorry couldn't be of much help. Either way, you'll have a GREAT time on the cruise!;)

Enjoy!!!:p

We did a four day in 7620. We are huge fans of the veranda rooms-wouldn't cruise w/o one- and it didn't bother us one bit.

Have fun!!

Your welcome. On the top right hand side of the veranda there is a slight curve of the exterior material of the ship. I would honestly say that 90% of the view is unobstructed.

Have a great cruise and vacation.
