I have been assigned cabin 6612 for our Feb 18, 2006 eastern cruise. This is a connecting cabin but I really like the location from what I can tell in deck plans that I have looked at. (near aft elevators)

We are a family of 4. We do not need a connecting cabin. Can you really hear a lot of noise from the other cabin. Is it a good location. Should I request to be moved to a non- connecting or stick with this one.

Also does anyone know if the extra bed is a ceiling drop down or a wall pull down ( did I ask that right?) My boys think the ceiling bed is so cool they are in negotiatins for who gets to sleep in it.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
P.S. I assume this is a regular balcony room and not metal walls?

We were in cabin 6600 on the Magic - it too was a connecting cabin. We had no problems with noise whatsover and absolutely LOVED the location of the room. Just a few flights up to the pools and a few flights down to the restaurants. We are booking 6600 when we go again.

small world....have you seen Dundee lately......just booming and they built a brand new high school that is just gorgeous!! since the Cabelas store came to town it has put Dundee on the map!!!

My DH and I were in Stateroom 6656 which was connecting. We heard a little bit of noise from kids in the other room, but not enough where it was bothersome.
