Hi all, going to HRH in June, and was wondering how much if any do the cabanas cost to use? Is this a free thing or pay thing? Thanks all!

Free? Surely you jest.

Last time I checked cabanas could be rented for the full day at $60 or in 4 hour chunks for $35. They all feature a TV, fridge, fresh water, newspaper, and a small selection of soft drinks.

Can you bring your own beer for the fridge? I see a profitable pay-per-view opportunity with that T.V. on a good ballgame day!

When we were there in March, we peeked in one. IF I remember correctly, there was a fan in there too. For some reason I am thinking it was a ceiling type fan. It was raining and cold so I did not pay too much attention. Can anyone verify this?

Hi,

We rented a cabana for a half day everyday while we were at PBH last year. We rented from 12-4pm. They do have a fridge, tv/vcr, table w/4 chairs, ceiling fan, a float for the pool, they bring you 2 cans of soda and water and a small bowl of fruit. It was a great place to cool off out of the sun and the kids watched movies in there while they ate lunch. You can bring your own food/drinks w/ you as well. We brought snacks, water and soda from our room. We loved it and kids had a place to wind down a little too.

Can you tell how big (aprox) the Cabana is, and what are the hours they are available? How early in the morning can/ should you reserve one? Oh, and which pool are they near?? thanks

Hi Mabelette,

I am so bad at judging size, but we had 2 adults and 4 kids and the kids were in there all at once for over an hour watching a movie and at one point I joined them and it didn't feel crowded; they really are a good size. We booked the cabana upon check in for the 4 days; however, there were only 2 that were being used - so there were still plenty. You can rent them from early am till 5 or 6pm. We stayed one day till 5:30. The ones we rented, remember, were at PBH and they were located by the villa pool area. However, I did check out the cabana situation at HRH and they seem to be located near the main pool area. I plan on reserving ours prior to arrival. I hope I answered all your questions.:D

I appreciate knowing the info about the cabanas. I can't stay in the sun for more than 15 minutes (recovering from some skin cancers) so the cabana would be great for me to be near the family at the pool and keep me out of the sun!! thanks M
