Cabana worth it for just 2 adults?

My wife and I did the cabanas for the two of us a couple of times and loved the privacy that it offered us. It was a bit over the top but just napping and reading in such a peaceful surrounding did provide a great value to us. Certainly a splurge but on our last cruise we didn't do it and just wandered around the island and we certainly missed having our "home base" for the day.

DH and I loved having a cabana for just the two of us and would do it again, but we didn't do any excursions. It's definitely a splurge, but we loved every minute of the privacy we had on the family beach. It felt like you had a stretch of beach almost completely to yourself. At first we thought we might be disappointed because we couldn't get one at Serenity Bay, but after seeing the set up over there I'm glad we paid a little bit extra and did the family beach.

On the classic ships, I say no. On the Dream class, I say yes. While it's still an idyllic setting, those cabanas are your own piece of paradise.

No.There is plenty of chaises and umbrellas at Serenity Bay.

I cosign this. Serenity Bay is so peaceful. There are hammocks, umbrellas and plenty of chairs. When your excursion ends at 3:30, it is going to almost be time to pack it in. I personally would not do it, but to each is own!

Absolutely not worth it. But hundreds of dollars for a CD of pictures, or $200-300 for a single meal (Remy), or thousands of dollars for a cabin with access to the concierge lounge are all of course silly and not worth it.

Everyone chooses their splurge. Ours is a cabana for the two of us, and we relish it. A day in paradise!
