Cabana rentals at resorts (YC) and summer storms?

Considering renting a resort cabana for a half day. Has anyone experienced a summer storm during your rental time. How does Disney handle the rental. If it storms for 2 hours of your 4 hour time do they refund any of the money? Or do they just cancel your whole allotted time?

I can’t speak to the YC, but we rented a cabana two days at the Poly last summer. There were some nasty storms roll through on both days and no, the fee was not refunded or prorated in any way.

From WDW cabana policy; Rentals may be cancelled by the Resort hotel due to inclement weather. Guests will not be charged in this case.
If I remember right, this happens if it's stormy all day or lightning storms, where they close the pool area. If I rented a cabana and it "stormed" (not just rained) for 2 or more hours, I would definitely talk with GS.

If the pools are closed due to,lightening, they will refund your $ or will have cancelled it out for the day before you arrive.

A lot of times, especially during the summer, they usually only close the pool for a temporary time because of lightning and if you rented a cabana for half the day and the pool was only closed for 30 minutes, I do not think you will get a full refund.
