Cabana rentals at aquatica?????

IM THINKING ABOUT RENTING A CABANA AT AQAUTICA (JUNE 5 OR JUNE 6). HAS ANYONE RENTED ONE AND IF SO, WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT? IS IT WORTH IT...PLEASE GIVE ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE....THANKS!

My family rented on last summer and throughly enjoyed it. it was nice and quiet and we actually stayed at the park the whole day and didn't feel wiped out.

it's a splurge but we would do it again.

We reserved one for our upcoming trip this July. I figure with the heat and sun, it might make it more bearable and allow us to spend the entire day at the park! I hope someone else who has reserved and experienced one will add their thoughts.

I have rented one on three different visits to the parks. In my opinion worth every penny, if you can splurge on a water view. They don't come with as many perks as they first did but you do get a fridge stocked with soda/water/juice that you can change. Towels and a large locker are also included. It does make for a great day as you can escape the sun when needed, plus if you are going in the summer you have a great place to hide during those pop up thunder storms.

How big is the fridge? & do you get drinks beside water?

I ask because I researched this earlier & saw that cabana's came with fridge, towels, suncreen, locker & 'drinks'-juice, cokes & water. Now the website does not list the fridge, or suncreen & only says water.

I tried for the premium cabana but it was taken so went with the pool view. From looking around it looks like they are on the far sides of each wave pool. Would one side be preferred to another? It looks like there is a smoking area on one side? Is it possible you might smell the smoke? I've never been there but hoping the cabana is worth it for a place to relax in private and get some shade. Thanks for any info.

I went ahead and booked the standard. We will still get the shade, fan, waters, and towels at least. Maybe not a good view, and hopefully not too far off from the attractions.
