I am looking at renting a Cabana at the Grand Floridian in August. I was trying to look up the information on the Disney site, and Stitch keeps eating the page. Does anyone know what the cost is? And what is included? We are going in August, is it worth it to rent one during this time of year and if so morning or afternoon? Are you limited to the number of people that can use it? Also where are they located?

We loved having the cabana at the GF. It gave us a good shady place to drop our stuff, eat lunch etc. They are located at the beach pool, next to the bathrooms, and there's an attendant if you want to order food. She also empties your trash, brings clean towels, drinks etc.

Thanks everyone for the replies, very informative. Does anyone have any recent pictures?

Yesterday, I reserved a cabana at GF.

The prices, inclusive of tax, are:
$211.94 (half-day rental), and
$318.44 (full-day rental)

Hope this helps :)

Our reservation isn't until June 2. My wording wasn't very clear and I made it sound like I actually used it yesterday!

I think it will be, though. (I haven't been to Florida in the summer since I was a kid, and I can't bear the thought of baking in that hot Florida sun.) If I remember, I'll try to take some pictures and post about the $ value for the experience :)

Haha that's ok, still very informative! Did you have to prepay or do you pay when you arrive? Do you happen to know if there is a limit to the number of people who use it?

I had to prepay, which caught me a little off guard. I've done the Wishes and IllumiNations cruises and I didn't have to prepay. I assumed reserving a cabana would be the same.

I was also caught off guard by the price as I was assuming the $110/$185 prices above. I figured in an additional 15% for taxes and fees. So I was expecting around $130 for a half-day rental.

I think I remember reading that the cabanas accommodate a party of 8 or 9.

Cabanas accommodate 6 adults. If there are more in you party, you will need a second cabana.

Yes the price of $110 is outdated. I booked today for August and it was $211 and I had to prepay.
