Cabana on Family Beach or Serenity Bay?

HI DH and I are celebrating our 25 anniversary with a cruise on the Fantasy Oct 31-Nov 7, 2015.
Being that we are staying Concierge, I am hoping we can book a cabana. I'm wondering what beach you'd recommend for the Cabana rental?? The family beach cabana is quite a bit pricier, but if the beach is more fun, I'd consider it, I really like the views from Cabana 4 area, would love to look out to the ship and I think the Cabana would offer some privacy that DH would be craving..... Serenity Bay looks more like what hubby might like/ quiet/ serene/ private. As well, the adult lunch sounds a bit more pleasing to me..... however the Family beach looks like more fun to me. Any recommendations? and any personal Cabana # that you particularly think might be a good fit? If I choose Serenity Bay, I'm leaning towards Cabana 25. If I choose Family beach, i'm leaning towards Cabana 4, 5 or 6 for the views.
OR...another thought, might be the last cabana on the family beach (which would be close to Serenity Bay??) then we could do the adult buffet lunch, but still be on the family beach.
Thoughts??

I have had 4 and 5 and both perfect.

Private but not far to walk, good beach, good view, good swim, and near Cookies BBQ2

Quicker to get to/from the ship.

Near shops, near cycles, near snorkel equipment etc.

We have no kids and have only done cabanas on Serenity Bay. All I can say is...

Update on my PrincessShmoo fangirl status: I actually dug out my old Pinterest login, despite the fact that pinterest gives me hives, so I could make myself a cruise board that utilizes a lot of your imagery.

Art nerds, 25 is a top contender, trying to decide between 4, 5 on family side or 25 would be the choice for Serenity bay. Is 25 still accessible to decent swimming?

As said 4 and 5 provide good access to the sea, the higher the number the further the walk and when the tide is out a far longer walk.

All the cabanas on Serenity bay are directly behind the beach. Probably about 10-25 yards from the water. The water in Serenity Bay is fairly shallow (as in you can stand up for a long distance, but you can swim pretty well there.

Would you mind telling me about how far a walk it is to the closest food venue? (Meaning, five minutes, ten minutes, etc.) I've found some maps but they seem to be outdated. I have my eye on cabana 25 in September.

Thank you Disney Fantasy So.... it's looking like 4 or 5 might just be the best despite it being on the more crowded family beach. I think the cabana will provide the escape from the hectic activity should hubby need it. I have heard they have golf carts to provide transport to areas that are further away? I wonder if we wanted to take a trip over to Serenity Bay to see it/ or perhaps get our lunch from there if they would drive us over on the golf cart? Personally as far as Cabana location goes, I can't imagine a prettier view than those from 4 or 5! now I just have to think if it's worth the $150 steeper price tag..... that' hard as the CDN$$ is not doing very well right now and that $150 extra can easily make our CC day a <$500 venture! not sure I want to pay that steep/ so the Adult beach is still in the consideration as well!

Five minute walk to the adult BBQ (and bar and bike/snorkel rental and tram stop), and if you don't feel like walking, push the button in your cabana and your Host will come in a golf cart and drive you there.

By the way, none of the maps (as recently as 2 weeks ago) have been updated to reflect the new cabana numbers. Cabana 21 on the map the DISNEY FANTASY posted (which is essentially the same as the one I got 2 weeks ago) is the current Cabana 25.

I don't think so, but you can just hop on the tram to Serenity Bay. The BBQ is right there next to the tram stop.

There are only two concierge hosts who patrol the cabanas and one left on the ship, there is a golf cart along the cabanas to Cookies 2 and the tram stop only.

That looks lovely, Disney Fantasy bottom line, which beach do you think is nicer?? Is the Family Beach worth the extra money?
looks like we can erase the adult lunch as a deciding factor, as we could just take the tram to the adult bbq.

If it was me & it's an adult only trip Id go serenity bay. No question. Save the $ & you have a quiet kid free oasis.
