We might have to take a cab from POP to Wilderness Lodge but we have a 2 year old, what do you do about a car seat?

Request a cab that has a baby seat.

Keep in mind that in FL cabs are considered public transportation. Just as with the WDW bus system, I don't believe it is the law to have a baby in a car seat -- scary I know -- but there were times when a cab would simply tell us they didn't have one. For sure I would call the bell station and let them know your time and requirements. Hopefully they can then have a cab there for you with the baby seat.

Florida has a car seat law for the taxis as well. Most taxis now carry car seats. If a taxi is riding a child under 4 years old without a babyseat he is subject to get ticketed. The only vehicles exempted from Florida law are the busses.

That is great! See what happens in a few years! When we couldn't get a cab with one we just didn't go -- rented a town car with one, etc. I'm glad to hear that .... good for FL.
