We're spending 5 days at WDW and then 3 at HRH @ USF. We were planning on taking a cab to move from Port Orleans FQ to HRH. Does anyone know how much a cab would cost for that trip? I called Tiffany Town Car today to make ressies to and from the airport, and they said they can move us from PO to HRH for $26, and I can just call the day before. Is Tiffany cheaper than a cab would be?

think i would also compare a rental car rate, by time your done you might be close to the same price? Cab from airport to wdw was about 40.00, guess hrh is about 1/2 way? I would check all your options. MKY;)

When I was staying at Quality Inn Plaza on I-Drive, I was quoted the following taxi fares.....

$25.00 - Ticket and Transportation Center (Magic Kingdom)
$15.00 - Downtown Disney

I had to use the taxi a couple of times when their standard bus schedule didn't fit mine.

When we were at the Dolphin last week we asked at the front desk about getting a taxi to the AKL. We were told they were out front. So, I told one of the bellmen that I needed a taxi. He called over a towncar for us. Now, I was wanting and expecting a regular taxi, you know the yellow ones. Anyway, I don't know if this was considered a taxi or a towncar or what, but it cost us $16 to make the rather short trip from the Dolphin to the AKL. The "taxi" driver was none too friendly, either.
Tiffany did pick us up from the airport and take us back to the airport. They were absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend them!

Just for clarity.....at the Swan and Dolphin, the taxis are run by Mears. That's why they are soooo expensive.

idontknow, Thank you for clearing that up for me. I thought $16 was just too much for that short trip.
