Cab questions

There are a couple of times in our upcoming Disney trip where it will be much easier for my family to use a cab to get from point A to point B. Once is moving from the Poly to the Beach Club. The other is to get from DTD to our dinner at the Grand Floridian.

The problem is that we are a group of 6, so we will need either 2 cabs, or to request a van. How far in advance can you call to set up a taxi pickup? Could I call the day before and tell the what time I need to be picked up? Or farther in advance? Roughly how much will each trip cost?

I know we can take a bus from DTD to the Grand Floridian, but I would really rather pay the extra $ and not have to stress about making our dinner ressie.

I usually look up mousesavers website..go under transportation..then taxi.
They have taxi companies listed.. I think it is yellow cab that we've used. You can give them a call and ask them those questions plus they can give you an idea of an approximate fare.

Just have the valet folks call you one and make sure they know it's for six people. It should arrive within ten minutes. No need to prearrange.

Just as an FYI, cab fare from the PR to the BC is going to run about $20 including the tip.
