Cab or super shuttle?

We are flying into sna and staying at the GC. There will be 6 of us, 2 adults, 4 kids with about 5 suitcases. Are there taxis that will accomodate all of us and our luggage or do we need to rely on a van in the shuttle. Thanks in advance.

Most taxi services or independent shuttle drivers use vans nowadays. They are always sitting outside the airport looking for fares. Go up to them, tell them where you are going and how many in your party. They should quote you a price. If their price is higher than another, say "those guys over there are less expensive", and they will match the fare.

We used a taxi two years ago from SNA for our family of four and plan to do so again. It was much cheaper than the shuttle. Like Sosai X said, there are a lot of mini vans at the airport waiting. What I did was called the taxi company, sorry I do not remember the name and aske them what it would cost from the airport to our hotel, DL, and when I asked the driver, that is what I told him I would pay him. It was more than fair I thought. I think it was like $35-40 dollars.
